You don’t have to be happy at all,

                                                           to be happy you’re alive.

I am a Camera. Sculpy clay, glass glitter, and vintage Agfa camera. 2010

“I am a camera with its shutter open, quite passive, recording, not thinking. Recording the man shaving at the window opposite and the woman in the kimono washing her hair. Some day, all of this will have to be developed, carefully printed, fixed.”

New Works to be Exhibited this March at Licking County Players Theater in Newark, Ohio.

This March, I will be exhibiting works in the lobby gallery of The Licking County Players (LCP) Theater, in Newark, Ohio. The works will be hung to coincide with the staging of the player’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). I am very excited to have this opportunity to exhibit work in the town where I grew up, and also to be associated with such a great organization.

One More Day

The installation of CONFESSIONAL; my new installation/performance piece, has been underway since Monday evening. Over the past few nights wood has been sanded and painted, walls have been drilled, vinyl cut, grommets punched, wires hung, anchors sunk, coffee pored, pictures printed, life discussed, tears shed, laughs shared…just one more night.

CONFESSIONAL Opens This Friday!

CONFESSIONAL, my new installation/performance piece opens this Friday, 11 November 2011. Come and view the work and help me celebrate its compeletion at an opening reception at It Looks Like Its Open Gallery (13 East Tulane Road, Columbus, Ohio 43202) at 7:00p.
